The Swan and Canning River catchment system is host to a range of important and unique ecosystems and a diverse range of native and endemic flora and fauna. Rapid population growth and increased urban development in the Swan Canning catchment, has led to a decline in water quality, dwindling water resources and native vegetation. Come help us in the remove exotic invasive weed species and in seedling propagation to improve local biodiversity.

Conservation Volunteers have joined forces with the South East Regional Centre for Urban Landcare (SERCUL). Get your hands dirty with our team leaders as we help out to remove exotic invasive weed species in the south-east catchment area.

Join us for a day in the Canning River Regional Park as we celebrate the signing of the Convention on Wetlands, an international treaty for the conservation and wise use of wetlands. Wetlands are a precious natural asset, critical globally for water and food security, reducing the impacts of flood and storm surges, storing carbon and providing wildlife habitat.
