WORLD WETLANDS DAY 2018 at Patawalonga Creek.
Enjoy a fun day out between 9am (8:30am if meeting at our office) and 1pm to become immersed in this unique part of Adelaide.
Join us to undertake bird surveys to understand the diversity of species using the site, install bee hotels to create habitat for local bees and collect seeds for propagation in our nursery.
Patawalonga Creek was once a diverse watercourse running through the Adelaide plains which has now been contained in many places through the suburbs in concrete canals. There is, however, one part that you can still see some of the original Adelaide Plains creekside where now remains a significant remnant of the Swamp Paperbark plant community.
**Please contact the Adelaide Office if you would like to make use of our transportation to and from the project site (Departing from 134 South Road, Torrensville at 8:30am)
We would love you to come and join us and celebrate World Wetlands Day!
