Come and join us at Victoria Point in the Redland Bay region as we plant trees in Egret Colony Wetland to celebrate World Wetland Day! CVA has been working with local Bushcare Groups to remove weed species such as Singapore Daisy, Lantana and Coral Berries in preparation for this community event. This wetland area provides important habitat for wildlife including koalas, wallabies, a local egret colony and a local bat colony. This is a fantastic opportunity to network and gain basic plant identification skills for a career in conservation or, to get outside and have some fun while meeting like-minded people.
If this project is fully booked but you are able to make your way to and from the project site we would love to have you on board, simply contact our Brisbane office via phone or email and we can manually add you on to the project. Remember to wear long pants, a long sleeved shirt, enclosed shoes, a hat, sunglasses and please bring your lunch and plenty of water.
No prior experience is necessary, our friendly team leaders will provide you with all the necessary training on the day!
