The foods we eat, the air we breathe, the water we drink and the climate that makes our planet habitable all come from nature. Yet, these are exceptional times in which nature is sending us a message. Nature is showing that we are on the verge of a breakdown. It’s time to wake up. To take notice. To reimagine our relationship with nature. It’s time to raise our voices to tell the world that we need action now. This World Environment Day, it’s Time for Nature.
Help restore nature to the heart of our city by joining one of our tree planting events on Mount Victoria. Tools, gloves and training provided. Plant a tree, take a tree home - in celebration of World Environment Day we will have some kawakawa seedlings, grown at our nursery, for you to take home to plant in your own backyard.
FRIDAY 5TH JUNE is world environment day. Grab a friend, colleague or your kids and join us for a fun day of tree planting.
SATURDAY 6TH JUNE - for those of you who can't make it mid-week, we are running another event on Saturday.
