Celebrate National Student Volunteer Week with a Conservation Volunteers Information Session, combined with a Native Seedball making workshop.
This evening session will introduce pospective volunteers and students to the idea of volunteering in the Conservation sector, featuring information on past, current and future projects, safety requirements, training prospects, etc. During the session, volunteers will be creating "seed bombs" featuring native seeds from our own nursery and seed collecting days, to be used on one of our current significant Wetland projects. Volunteers will have the ability to take home native seeds for their own garden.
Refreshments will be provided to enjoy during the activity.
This will be a short and sweet activity of approx. 2 hours. Bookings are essential.
