The Woodward Road Buffer Revegetation project aims to improve the local ecosystem around Cedars Quarry. Lend a hand and give back to your local environment by helping us plant natives and increase vegetation, making a difference for future generations.

By helping to plant natives, you are ensuring a healthier ecosystem and improved water quality, entering the Great Barrier Reef. More native plants and fewer invasive weeks will encourage native wildlife to make this habitat their home.

As well as significant environmental benefits you will contribute to, you will also gain useful skills and training, and meet like-minded people.

Volunteers need to bring and wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, boots or sturdy shoes, and a broad-brimmed hat. It is also recommended that volunteers bring and use sun-screen (30+) and tropical-strength insect repellent.

Hope to see you there!
