This means, looking after previously planted natives, picking up litter, caring for the stream and the eels and other life within the stream, combating pests such as blackberry, broome, gorse, convovulus and whatever else is growing there, cherishing and enhancing the heritage and ecological values.
This group has been working in the Willowbank Reserve near the Takapu Rd railway station for several years.
We provide: an experienced team leader, tools, gloves, health and safety management and training. Free transport available - get in touch to book a seat as places are limited!
What to wear/bring: sturdy boots, long sleeves and pants, a hat/beanie, waterproof jacket, water bottle and food.
