In the aftermath of the recent bushfires, CVA has been entrusted as a one of the key organisations to deliver immediate environmental recovery needs of bushfire affected areas.
As an initial practical environmental response, we are inviting the broader community to contribute in the much needed recovery and ecological rehabilitation of these areas. The focus of these events is on restoring vegetation and waterways along with assisting native wildlife to return into the affected areas.
Come and join us in Townsville to create resources such as pouches, bags and wraps for wildlife groups around the country to use to care for animals impacted.
Workshops to occur in the historic Quarantine Station within the Cape Pallarenda Conservation Park, with a light lunch provided.
We look forward to helping the fire affected areas and providing our wildlife new opportunities and new beginnings!
