By joining us on this project, you'll be working alongside local council and Friends groups to clear noxious weeds in the Altona Coastal Park area. You will also have the opportunity to collect native seeds from the Greenwich Reserve area with a focus on revegetation of mangroves to help prevent further erosion in various areas in Hobsons Bay. These tasks will also help to provide suitable vegetation and habitat for several species of native birds found in the area.
The site location will vary each week in the Altona and Willamstown areas.
