Join our conservation adventure and help the Upper Goulburn Landcare Network to reconnect the habitat networks within Kinglake Ranges by removing environmental weeds from the native vegetation.
Kinglake is one of the areas which was severely affected by the February 2009 bushfires. The natural environment is well on its way to recovery, but the local community members are still working hard to remove exotic weed species so our native vegetation can continue to regenerate.
Don't miss this exciting opportunity to volunteer amid the spring wildlife (such as Superb Lyrebirds busy making their nests) while contributing to support the local community and its natural environment on the way to its recovery from the natural disaster and weed invasion.
We will provide transport from our Melbourne office (120 Rosslyn St West Melbourne) each day, departing at 8am and returning around 4pm. Or if you live local you can meet on-site by prior arrangement.
