Connect and grow with a planting day beside the beautiful Styx Paharakekenui River. We will work alongside CCC park rangers to restore the riparian margins of this special waterway. Volunteering in parks is the perfect way to fit the ‘five ways to wellbeing’ into your life, so come join us!
We have two opportunities for you to volunteer at this site:
- Friday 31 July - 10am-12pm - morning tea provided
- Saturday 22 August - 10am-12pm: Planting with Pride! Brought to you by CVNZ, the NZ Aids Foundation. Chat beside the BBQ to finish.
Bring warm clothes, gumboots, a cup for a hot drink and gardening gloves if you have them.
Gloves and tools will be provided.
