Join Conservation Volunteers NZ to help clear huge amounts of rubbish from Trimdon Reserve in Randwick Park. Trimdon Reserve is a longstretch of streamside reserve that has potential to be a great asset to the community. However, years of illegal dumping of rubbish and household waste has ruined the area. Not only is it an eyesore but this rubbish regularly ends up in the stream where it makes it's way out to the precious Manukau Harbour.
Join us for a clean up event to help remove this rubbish and help bring back some community pride to this reserve. Clean up and weed control in the area will take some time but the aim is to start to replant this stream site in winter 2022. This event is part of our Papakura Stream Restoration project which includes tree planting, weed control, fencing and litter clean ups along the Papakura Stream. We'd love all the help we can get.
