Trees for Canterbury is a native tree nursery in East Christchurch. Providing employment for people with physical and intellectual disabilities, they supply eco-sourced plants to community groups around the region. They also organise planting days and provide environmental education.
We will be assisting TFC with their day to day work of producing and caring for seedling native species, and keeping the nursery tidy and running smoothly.
Come for part or all of the day and join our international volunteers! Tools, and gloves supplied. Bring drinking water, lunch and snacks, and wear sturdy footwear.
Note: we can provide transport, but spaces are limited, so get in touch to book your seat!
