Come Join Conservation Volunteers in the creation of a brand new reserve in Sebastopol.
M.R. Power Reserve has been secured to be kept as a green space within this ever growing suburb. The City of Ballarat has announced that the 50 acre reserve will be revegetated, transforming areas back to their natural state.
You have the opportunity to be part of the initial works to start to transform the reserve. We need volunteers to come help us plant thousands of trees throughout this reserve. Help add to the natural beauty of your local community while contributing to the enhancement of the environment in the area.
Planting trees is a rewarding experience where you can make a real and substantial difference!
Learn new skills, meet likeminded individuals who also have a keen interest in their local environment, upgrade your resume with volunteering experience - so many great reasons to join us for some fun outdoors!
We will provide transport from Ballarat train station, or, if you live local you can meet on-site by prior arrangement.
