In partnership with the City of Port Phillip, dedicated volunteers from Conservation Volunteers Australia help plant native trees at a number of local reserves and parks every year.
Project sites are located relatively in an urbanised area but they all function as important habitat and breeding grounds for many native birds and animals. The focus area for revegetation this year will be Point Ormond, Elwood Canal and Elwood Foreshore.
Join us for a day and get your hands dirty to put the plants in ground, we would love your assistance!
If you wish to meet us on site, please contact the Melbourne office before your volunteering day to arrange meeting details.
