Join us for a morning cutting timber for trap kitsets for Predator Free Port Hills at our base at Paterson House in Halswell Quarry. No experience necessary as all training and protective gear will be supplied.
Please wear long trousers, and long sleeves and wear sturdy footwear - workboots are preferred if you have them. Note we will not be building the traps, rather preparing timber and wire inserts for other community groups to put traps together.
Note this working bee is from 9am-12pm at our office at Paterson House and Marie Gray from Predator Free Port Hills will talk about their work and what the traps are for.
Morning tea will be provided, so registrations are appreciated as this session is limited to a maximum of 12 people.
Please register below. Contact Hamish Fairbairn (hfairbairn@cvnz.org.nz) or 021 399 040 for more information.
