Join us for a day caring for our native trees at the stunning Tawatawa Reserve. Our planting site has great views out over Island Bay and the South Coast as well as the regenerating bush in Tawatawa Reserve. Over the last two years we have planted thousands of native trees in the reserve and they need caring for over spring and summer. Help us keep the weeds at bay and enjoy a visit to our native plant nursery. Gloves, tools, training and transport provided.
What to wear/bring: sturdy boots or gumboots, long sleeves and pants, a hat/beanie, a drink bottle and some food.
What we provide: gloves, tools, high-vis vests, an experienced team leader, training.
Email wellington@cvnz.org.nz if you need help registering/booking with our projects.
