Departure time:
In the words of Dr Alistair Richardson: "I love a good saltmarsh, and they certainly need friends". You can become a saltmarsh friend by being involved in bird and plant surveys of Tamar River Estuary saltmarshes. The surveying normally takes 1-2 hours so we may also do some weed management (sea-spurge) after the surveys. The start time for each day varies depending on tides, so check details for each specific project and note that surveying may require moderate walks through muddy areas.
