Congwong Beach is a beautiful part of Botany Bay, favoured by scuba divers, snorkelers, families, travellers and residents alike. CVA have been working for two years at the site to rehabilitate and re-establish the native dune vegetation at Congwong Beach. Sand dunes are vital in protecting the coast line, providing a suitable habitat to many species and providing a buffer against significant weather events. Volunteers will work to remove rubbish and debris from the beach and surrounding areas and may also contribute to dune restoration works before enjoying an interpretive walk of the area.
