As part of our Wild Futures program we are developing partnerships to deliver projects that support a secure and wild future for the Swift Parrot. This project is solely focused on increasing native habitat for the Swifty and is ran in partnership with the Tasman Landcare Group.
The project will be based on the Tasman Peninsula in areas such as; Forcett, Murdunna and Dunalley. Volunteers will plant in areas that were affected by the 2013 bushfires that destroyed a significant among of native vegetation. By replanting in these areas we are supporting and encouraging the Swift Parrot inhabitants.
Come along and be part of the positive change for the Swift Parrot. Give it a shot at a Wild Future!
