Join us for a day supporting the local community group, who is working hard towards protecting and restoring 'an ecologically and historically' significant area in the heart of Khandallah.

Their Goals for 2022: - Clear the track to make the stream more accessible - Clear the riparian area - Expand our kaitiaki network - Increase community awareness and involvement.

Activities may vary but are likely to include: weeding along the track and stream, as well as some litter collection. Gumboots are recommended for working across the stream.

What to wear/bring: Sturdy boots are essential, long sleeves, and long trousers. Ensure you pack warm clothes such as a beanie, jumper and a rain jacket to protect you against wind and rain. Bring a full water bottle and snacks!

What we provide: fully trained team leader/s, gloves, tools and training.

Free transport to and from Wellington City Centre is available (contact us to arrange a pick-up).
