Perth is home to some of the most pristine beaches in the world. With their clear turquoise waters and bright white sand, our beaches attract crowds of thousands over the summer months. But with increased urban development our iconic beaches are under threat from human induced degradation.
Conservation Volunteers Australia, alongside Perth NRM and coastal community groups such as Friends of Ocean Reef and Iluka Foreshore, are addressing these threats to priority hotspots along Western Australia’s coastlines. Help is needed to improve the environmental quality of these beautiful locations and volunteers can provide vital assistance by undertaking debris removal, plant de-guarding and invasive weed removal and in doing so, help local groups achieve their management plan targets.
Spring into Action!
This event will see you working hard, not only to make a difference to Ocean Reef and Iluka Foreshores, but to beat your interstate counterparts in an environmental challenge! Every team will undertake a range of activities with all results tallied after the event; who will be the ultimate team?

Conservation Volunteers Australia is Australasia's leading conservation volunteer organisation, founded in 1982. We offer conservation programs across Australia which enable volunteers to protect, preserve and restore the Australian environment. Projects take place in urban, regional and remote areas, and include tree planting, seed collection, weed control, flora and fauna surveys, building tracks and trails, fencing, and heritage restoration. See below for details of one of our conservation projects, or search for projects near you.
