The Stepping Stones project is contributing to the Great Eastern Ranges (GER) Initiative, one of the largest conservation partnership projects in the world.
The project seeks to strengthen habitat connectivity across the Hunter Valley. The project recognises the key role of private landholders in these connectivity conservation efforts Connectivity Conservation.
As a volunteer with Conservation Volunteers Australia you will be assisting local farmers in the planting of local native seedlings in the revegetaion of key wildlife corridors.
Your will need to come prepared for moderate physical activities.
Wear sturdy boots, long pants, and long sleeve shirts. Hats and water are a must.
For volunteers who are travelling up from Newcastle, please bring your own sleeping bag and pillow.
Accomodation will be at the Sandy Hollow tourist park.
