The Port Phillip Bay foreshore is home to highly significant wetland areas linked to ecologically important habitats, such as the Swan Bay wetland system. These areas provide critical potential habitat for dozens of local and migratory bird species, including the Orange-bellied Parrot.
Pressures from development and recreational activities are impacting the diversity and environmental integrity of these sites.
Join us, working closely with City of Greater Geelong (CoGG), as we help improve and maintain beautiful locations between Clifton Springs and St Leonards, through such tasks as weed removal, rubbish collection and revegetation.
We will provide transport from South Geelong each day, departing at 8.00am and returning around 4pm. Or if you live local you can meet on-site by prior arrangement.
