A fantastic opportunity for a hands-on learning experience with Phillipa Reid from University of Tasmania, one of the leading experts in Saltmarsh ecosystems. This is a rare chance to learn about this threatened vegetation community and contribute to an important citizen science project. This is an ongoing seasonal project undertaken in southern Tasmania, in partnership with NRM South.

Participants will undertake various monitoring activities, as part of a larger 'Saltmarsh Matters Monitoring Program'. The program aims to identify the various plant and animal species as well as the human impacts on saltmarshes across the state, to help determine ecosystem health an assist with management planning.

A great citizen science program to get involved in and an opportunity to learn about saltmarsh ecosystems.
