We have collaborated with the team at Round the Bays for a day of tree care in Mount Victoria. We will have participants from Round the bays joining us, though everyone is welcome to join us on this day.
The aim of this project is to create a greener and healthier environment within the city and to showcase how humans and nature can thrive in the same place. Help is needed releasing young trees planted in winter from weeds, mulching, seed collecting, and predator control (rats and mice).
What to wear/bring: sturdy boots or gumboots, long sleeves and pants, a hat/beanie, a drink bottle and some food.
What we provide: gloves, tools, high-vis vests, an experienced team leader, training. Get in touch to book a free ride from the Z station on Vivian Street.
