Rottnest Island is an A-Class Reserve located 18km off the coast of Fremantle & Perth. It contains remnant vegetation, includes Marine Sanctuary zones and boasts many historical sites. Rottnest is also a popular holiday spot and is well known for its local inhabitants, the native Quokkas.

Come for an eco-holiday on this popular island and help to preserve this iconic spot by assisting in various conservation activities, including fencing, planting, dune rehabilitation, green stock maintenance and seawall painting. These activities increase the success rate of previously planted coastal vegetation, enhance the biodiversity of flora species, prevent erosion and assist with the overall health of the island ecosystem.

Volunteer Cost: $208

Please note:

- Accomodation on the island is dormatory style so if you are a light sleeper or loud snorer please come prepared to sleep in close vicinity to others.

- All meals will be provided by CVA - we will do our best to cator to dietary requirements.

- Activities do require a reasonable level of personal fitness - we will be working on steep dune systems and walking most days.
