As a group Rodney Street Beach Appreciation Society works with CCC Coastal Park Rangers to restore and revitalise our unique part of the coastal dune system. Activities include weed control and planting native dune species in the foredunes and backdunes.
Time: 9:30-12:30pm
Location: Meet at the carpark across the road from 275 Marine Parade - Under the big macrocarpa.
Bring: Your own gardening gloves, sturdy boots or shoes, a water bottle and sunhat. As part of our health and safety requirements, CVNZ requires volunteers to wear long sleeves and trousers as protection from the sun and vegetation.
We’ll supply tools, but you are welcome to bring your own, an update on what tools will be most useful will be emailed to those registered.
