Hollows are needed for many species that inhabit our native woodlands. From birds, to gliders, possums and tree frogs, hollows are in short supply in Western Sydney due to the loss of mature trees in the landscape. CVA is building and installing habitat boxes for birds, gliders and microbats. This project and workshop will help you understand the importance of hollows and help you identifiy some of the key species and types of habitat required by those species in Western Sydney.

Pick up from Granville Station 8:30 am or meet onsite at 65 Long Street Smithfield at 9:00 am. Drop off back to the station by 3:00 pm.
