Perth’s wetlands and catchments are valuable natural assets, providing habitat for ecologically important aquatic and terrestrial flora and fauna. Wetland vegetation also provides an important filtering service, removing pollutants such as nutrients, organic and inorganic matter and some pathogens before the water flows out into our rivers and oceans! Quality wetlands equal quality water all round!

Conservation Volunteers in partnership with the City of Cockburn and local friends of groups are working to rehabilitate the Roe 8 project site in the Beeliar Wetlands from east of the Kwinana Freeway to west of Stock Road.

Come and partner with us as we work together to restore this ecologically and culturally significant site!

(If project is fully booked online call our Perth office on 9335 2777 and one of our friendly staff will help you book onto the project)
