The Woorim Foreshore on Bribie Island is part of the Moreton Bay Ramsar-listed wetland of international significance. It is a sensitive foredune and riparian habitat, breeding ground for the critically endangered Loggerhead Turtle and habitat for migratory shorebirds (including the endangered Eastern Curlew) protected under international agreements.
CVA will improve environmental outcomes at this site by undertaking weed control, revegetation, marine debris clean-up and dune stabilisation. No prior experience is necessary, our friendly team leaders will teach you everything that you need to know on the day! Please meet at the Brisbane Office at 7:50am for transport or 10am if you are meeting the team on site.
