The Townsville Town Common is a unique Wetland in the Dry Tropics situated close to the heart of the CBD. Various activities will be conducted to improve this area of conservation significance.
Maintenance of several sites (road condition at weather dependant)- Smedley's Hut , Freshwater Lagoon area, Pandanus Viewing Area or Barramundi Lagoon.
Weed and seed - join the team and make a difference out at the mighty Town Common.
On Saturday 11th August 2018 we will be concentrating on planting wetland plants near Compenatory Habitat. Join in and lend a hand to improve this habitat.
