Stretching over 30km from South Geelong all the way to the Bay in Queenscliff, the Bellarine Rail Trail provides an inspiring passage along the historical railway line.
Winding through areas of remnant and indigenous vegetation it is important that appropriate on-going care be given to these areas in order to minimise the impact of recreational activity on crucial green corridors.
Join us and other like minded individuals as we help protect the integrity of these ecologically important spaces.
We will provide transport from South Geelong, departing at 8.00am and returning around 4pm. Or if you live local you can meet on-site by prior arrangement.
What to wear:
- Long pants and long sleeved shirt
- Sturdy, enclosed shoes
What to bring:
- Lunch and bottle of water
- Broad brimmed hat and wet weather gear (if needed)
What is provided:
- Tools and safety equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, sunscreen etc
- Tea, Coffee and Biscuits are provided each day
- Pick up and drop off as detailed above
