Join Conservation Volunteers Australia, Western Sydney Airport and Penrith City Council as we work together to restore two significant Reserves in Wallacia - Crossman Reserve and Fowler Reserve! These pockets of bushland provide critical habitat for animals such as possums, gliders and microbats, and are representative of the bushland areas that were once widespread across Western Sydney.
Over time, due to urbanisation and human disturbance, these Reserves have become dominated by invasive weed species, including Privet, Balloon Vine and African Olive. Come and join us in removing these destructive species before they outcompete our extraordinary native flora and fauna!
This is a fantastic opportunity to get outdoors to conserve our endangered ecological communities, meet like-minded locals and to learn all about the unique natural areas found within Wallacia. You will also be treated to a FREE BBQ lunch as a reward for all your hard work!
