Join us for this important project close to the beautiful Barossa Valley where we will be removing Declared Weeds of South Australia. The aim of this project will be to create a clear line of sight between SEA Gas sign posts.
This will significantly improve the safety of the site along both Sugar Loaf Road and Miamba Road at Williamstown. Weeds that will be removed include the Dog Rose and Olives. Ash trees will likewise be cleared as well as any saplings. Established ornamental trees will also be trimmed.
You will enjoy the native flora and fauna of the Barossa Valley while learning some plant identification skills and weed control methods, including hand-pulling and cut & swab, depending on the size of the plant.
This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and contribute to improving our environment.
