Come join CVA as we assist help reduce the spread of rabbits in the ACT. We will be working with local landholders and other environmental groups to minimise the woody weed infestations which create harbour for rabbit populations along a tributary on the northern riparian corridor of Woolshed Creek in the Majura Valley ACT. We will be then fencing the site and planting natives to help restore the site to its native condition. This project is proudly supported but the National Landcare Program and our partners the Molonglo Catchment Group.
What you can Expect:
- Learning about environmental threats to the ACT like weeds and rabbits.
- Learning new skills like woody weed control.
- Meeting new people.
- Being outdoors.
- Recognition of your efforts
