Conservation Volunteers in partnership with Foundation North, local iwi Ngati Paoa and Auckland Council are running a series of community events to assist with improving the health of Omaru Creek and the Tamaki Estuary at Te Whanake/Pt England which have a history of poor environmental condition.
Ways we can monitor and improve the health of the waterway are by cleaning up rubbish, removing pest plants, planting native plants, mulching, weeding and water and environmental monitoring.
Come and help on one or more of these project and be a part of transforming your local river. We'd love to have your help.
