Join Conservation Volunteers for our Twilight Showcase: Re-Wilding Prospect Creek
Sip a hot cocoa and enjoy some nibbles as we share the stories of this urban wildlife sanctuary
Re-Wilding is all about letting nature return to a previously damaged ecosystem. On this suburban creek volunteers have been working to remove invasive plant species, repairing a vital waterway, that flows onto Botanmy Bay. Habitat boxes have been installed and monitoring is underway.
Learn how community has come together to repair this riparian corridor and learn about the cool critters who call Prospect Creek home. This a free event, and a great way to learn more about biodiversity and the hidden secrets within Sydney's urban green spaces.
Complimentary pick-up/drop-off avaiable from Granville Station (on request), or meet onsite at Long Street Park at 5:30 pm.
The showcase will run through until 6:15 pm and include nibbles and hot drinks.
