The aim of this project is to create a greener and healthier environment within the city and to showcase how humans and nature can thrive in the same place. Join us on one (or more) days as we need help releasing young trees that were planted in winter, from growing weeds that can smother and prevent our natives from growing.

More dates will be availabele in due time, we will confirm the locations closer to the days.

What to wear/bring: sturdy boots or gumboots, long sleeves and pants, waterproof jacket, a hat/beanie, a drink bottle and some food.

What we provide: gloves, tools, high-vis vests, health & safety briefings, an experienced team leader and training.

Free transport to and from Wellington City Centre and Porirua Train Station is available (contact us to arrange a pick-up).

REGISTRATIONS ESSENTIAL AS PLACES ARE LIMITED.
