Pleasant Banks Estate was established in the 1830's and sits nestled on the banks of the South Esk River near Evandale. Come and spend some time on the estate as we rehabilitate the riverbank by planting 1,000 plants that will use their root system to hold the soil together during future floods. We will be installing some tree guards around the new plants, but most plants will be un-guarded.
So come and experience a piece of Tasmanian history and help to make the river resilient again.
