Piper River is just 30 minutes from launceston and flows from Hollybank through to Bass Strait. Much work has been done to control willow invasion and flood damage over recent years but in this project we will be helping to reduce erosion and improve habitat value, while enhancing the riparian vegetation on that area of the river.
The actual tree planting is relatively easy going and we will not be required to install tree guards or weed mats.
