In November 2015 the Pinery Bushfire ripped through the region just north of Adelaide, scorching more than 85,000 hectares. 91 homes were destroyed, and 2 lives were lost in the blaze, leaving communities devastated.
In 2016 our volunteers helped plant native trees and plants, in October we will be returning to these areas to remove tree guards and get rid of any weeds which may have established.
CVA volunteers are continuing to help the community and environment recover from this massive fire. Please join us in assisting in the Pinery area.
