In 2020, Conservation Volunteers Australia in Adelaide, South Australia will be participating in the City Nature Challenge for the first time! Help us compete with cities from around the world by making the most natural observations possible from April 24-27, 2020. Let's show the world the incredible diversity Adelaide has to offer.

Join us at the Patawalonga Creek and its surrounding area to undertake this community Bioblitz

Pat Creek was once a diverse watercourse running through the Adelaide plains which has now been contained in many places through the suburbs in concrete canals.  There is, however, one part that you can still see some of the original Adelaide Plains creekside where now remains  a significant remnant of the Swamp Paperbark plant community.   The site has had fantastic changes over the years thanks to volunteers and it still needs your help to hold back the pressures of surrounding urbanisation

Come and join our team of volunteers.  It's a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and contribute to improving our environment.

During the 4-day window of this challenge, if you are anywhere in Greater Adelaide, snap a photo of your natural observation and upload it to the iNaturalist website making sure to include the location! The observations will automatically be pooled to this project so that we can compete with participants from cities all over the world!
