Come join Conservation Volunteers New Zealand and The Manurewa Local Board on a community planting day along the Papakura Stream. The Manurewa Local Board is enhancing Frangipani Avenue Reserve and the Papakura Stream in Manurewa by planting native species along the stream bank. Native plants provide important habitat for birds and insects and help improve water quality in the stream.
What to bring: Gumboots or closed toe shoes, appropriate clothing, favourite spade (of you have one), gardening gloves (optional). Some spades and gloves will also be provided.
