Join our team clearing invasive vegetation and planting native species to benefit koalas and other native wildlife in this picturesque location near Ipswich. This site has been adopted by CVA to support the efforts of Queensland Trust For Nature (QTFN) in managing a cattle grazing property to achieve a situation where wildlife areas can co-exist with cattle farming. This is a great opportunity to learn about plant identification and develop skills in re-vegetation. The team will also be surveying for koalas as well as other important mammal species.
If this project is fully booked but you are able to make your way to and from the project site we would love to have you on board, simply contact our Brisbane office via phone or email and we can manually add you on to the project. Remember to wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt, enclosed shoes, a hat, sunglasses and please bring your lunch and plenty of water.
No prior experience is required, our friendly team leaders will provide you with all the training that you need on the day!
