Do you want to help create a habitat for our native lizards, insects, and birds such as Tui and Kaka? Come lend a hand with pest, weed and predator control at Odell Reserve. We are supporting the local community group in collaboration with Wellington City Council, who has identified this site as a 'Key Native Ecosystem'.

Volunteering is a great way to get to know Wellington's natural places and to meet new people. Tools, training, and transportation provided.

What to wear/bring: Sturdy boots are essential, long sleeves, and long trousers. Ensure you pack warm clothes such as a beanie/hat, jumper and a rain jacket to protect you against wind and rain. Bring a full water bottle and snacks!

What we provide: gloves, tools, hi-vis vests, an experienced team leader and training.

Free transport to and from Wellington City is available (contact us to arrange a pick-up).

REGISTRATIONS ESSENTIAL AS PLACES ARE LIMITED.
