Koalas are listed as nationally vulnerable due primarily to the loss and fragmentation of habitat. Small habitat remnants currently support fragmented Koala populations, leaving individuals at risk of predation, isolation and displacement. In partnership with NRMA, CVA is establishing koala habitats by planting koala food trees and other supporting indigenous vegetation. We aim to provide and restore strategic habitat corridors throughout the landscape which will enhance habitat connectivity for the Koala populations.
Come and actively contribute to the survival and spread of our local Koalas at a beautiful property at Goolmangar!
Detailed directions to the planting property will be provided on booking or by contacting the Ballina office directly on 6681 6169. Travel from the Ballina office with CVA staff can also be arranged, please get in touch.
