The event will be located at 38 Cabarita Road, Bogangar and will include fishing for Tilapia - a pest fish species - from the riverbank (BYO fishing gear), Tilapia weigh-ins and prizes. To be eligible for prizes you need to register at the Conservation Volunteers marquee between 9am -3pm. After registration you will receive a free brag-mat, wristband and pest fish ID card and prizes will be drawn at the close of competition at 3pm.
Everyone is invited to come along, fishers and non-fishers alike. The prize draws will include adults and junior sections for heaviest Tilapia and most Tilapia caught. For further information about the event please phone Shae Kolk on 0475973888 or email skolk@cva.org.au
