Spend a day with us at Nga Hau e Wha o Papararangi Marae in Newlands where we will help to restore the ngahere (forest) and keep the habitat free of pesky weeds. You will have the opportunity to learn about plants endemic to Aotearoa and their traditional uses for rongoa (medicine), kai and raranga (weaving). This is a great opportunity not only to create a positive difference to the environment but also to learn about Maori culture and to get involved in your local community.
