The remnant bushlands within Mosman Park support priority flora and fauna species including the Rainbow Bee-eater and are significant in providing an ecological link within the south-west region. These bushland areas also provide an important buffer between the encroaching urban landscape and the Swan River waterway, being essential to maintain healthy aquatic ecosystems by providing an important ecological link in the river bank landscape.
Join us at Chidley Point Reserve and Mt Lyell Park to assist in the reduction of the occurrence of dominant invasive species. This will provide a favourable environment for the growth and regeneration of native flora, which will enhance the habitat value for native fauna and increase the ecological integrity of the bushland areas.
